![]() ![]() My conclusion was off because the rads are not perfectly centered on the screws. Zotty, thanks for the pics and the sanity check. Just make sure you measure, if you want to run rads side by side, like in the front of the 1000D People have ran into issues running rads side by side, on cases such as in the 1000D. This is one way they fit more water channels in. Looking that you are going to have a lot of rad space I think you will be better off with a GTS, I typically run my fans at lower RPMs, I have dual 360mm rads and my fans never run at full tilt.Īlso one note about HW Labs, they tend to "cheat" by having rads that are wider than most rads. The fin density, core density, water channels, and fan configuration can have different effects. GTX leaves GTS in dust with push and pull with 1850 RPMs:Īgain it is a completed subject, the GTS is the go to for many reasons beyond size. GTX pulls a little ahead w/ push only at 1350 RPMs: GTS out performs GTX at push only at low RPMs: ![]() These examples are for the 360mm, though it should scale similar for the other sizes: In benchmarks the GTS actually out performs the bigger cousin at lower fan speeds in push only configuration, only at higher fan speeds and push/pull does the GTX out perform the GTS. Oddly enough you would be better off with GTS rads over GTX. The art of cooling is a very complicated and confusing topic. ![]() ![]() They are loved by the water cooling community. I could also, to be safe, get a 280GTS rad for the rear instead which is 30mm, and then I should be good for sure? Or did I make an error in my assumptions/measurements? Therefore, in theory, assuming a perfect alignment, it should work? When I measure 80mm in from the top inner corner of the rear fan mount and then 80mm from the rear outer corner of the top 3x140mm fan bracket the measurements do not touch. GTX rads are 54mm in "height", ML140s are 25mm for a combined height of 79, call it 80mm. I know there are plenty of similar diagrams out there but i cant understand where to connect the stuff that i have thats not in those builds so thats why i need this aswell.Zotty, youre the man-I appreciate your rapid replies and value your input.Ĭan you give me a quick sanity check? I just did some math. I want a diagram as im having a hard time following text guides and its so much easier to do it in the actuall case with a diagram. This is the items that i have and can use:ġ8 LL120 fans (16 in the front 2 in the back)ģ Commander Pros (included the one preinstalled in case)ģ RGB Fan Led Hub (included the one preinstalled in case)Ģ 2080 Waterblocks with rgb lighting (Has input and output so can be used in chain.ġ i9 9900KF waterblock with rgb lighting (only one cable for rgb no chain thingies)ġ XD5 RGB pump/reservoir (input and output for RGB and one 4pin pump connector cable) I cant get ahold of the y header cables as they are out of stock everytime i check. How to chain everything that can go in a chain.ĭifferent colors for different cable types.Ĭan i put commander ontop of eachother or will they be too hot for that to be smart?Ĭan i get ahold of extension cables for the fans and their rgb lightning that doesnt cost like 10bucks a cable or should i just place the commanders in the closest spots? What fans should go to what rgb fan led hub and commander. Could someone more experienced and with more knowledge make me a diagram picture thingie for how everything is conected. ![]()
